Alky Chairs by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli

Designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, these Alky Chairs capture the expressive spirit of 1970s Italian design. Their low profile and generous curves create a soft, almost architectural silhouette.

Piretti designed the Alky around comfort and simplicity. The seat flows naturally into the backrest, while its compact proportions keep the form visually light. As a group of four, the chairs create an inviting setting for conversation.

We professionally reupholstered all four chairs in a soft cream fabric. The neutral tone brings attention back to their distinctive shape. At the same time, it gives the design a quieter, more contemporary presence.

These Alky Chairs work beautifully around a low table or as a conversational seating arrangement. They can also sit separately throughout an interior. Their sculptural form makes them equally suited to a home, gallery or hospitality setting.
